I've been a copywriter and editor for over two decades. During this time, I've written on topics for a variety of audiences across multiple genres, including construction, economics, environmental issues, philosophy, and the arts.
I believe in the power of simplicity above all, cutting through ambiguity, jargon and circumlocution to find the kernel of meaning – even with highly technical topics. After carefully considering each individual component of a message, I sculpt every sentence to lift the entire piece.
I have a PhD in English from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Teaching at Deakin University. I've also taught Rhetoric & Composition at West Chester University, Pennsylvania, as well as co-convening two short courses on clear scientific writing at Deakin University.
